As a basketball player from Hartsburg, Missouri, I've learned that success comes from dedication both on and off the court. Growing up in this small community has taught me the value of hard work and supporting those around you, lessons that translate perfectly to basketball. Throughout my high school career, I've pushed myself to improve every aspect of my game. Whether it's staying after practice to work on my free throws or studying game film to better understand defensive schemes, I believe that consistent effort leads to growth. Basketball has shown me that individual talent means nothing without teamwork – every assist, screen, and defensive rotation requires trust in your teammates. What drives me most is the feeling of bringing my team together toward a common goal. In Hartsburg, we understand that everyone has a role to play, and I've embraced being both a leader and a teammate who lifts others up. The lessons I've learned on the court – perseverance through adversity, communication under pressure, and the importance of preparation – have shaped who I am as both an athlete and a person.
