Xavier Lattimore

My name is Xavier Lattimore, and basketball has shaped who I am today. As a member of my high school team here in Wichita, Kansas, I've learned that success isn't just about individual talent—it's about showing up for your teammates every single day. On the court, I focus on being dependable. Whether I'm the leading scorer or playing a supporting role, I give everything I have. I've learned to embrace constructive criticism from my coaches and use it to improve my game. The early morning workouts and late-night film sessions have taught me discipline that extends beyond basketball. What I love most about this sport is the trust you build with your teammates. When we execute a play perfectly or fight back from a deficit, it's because we've put in the work together. Basketball has also taught me resilience—not every game goes your way, but how you respond defines your character. As I look toward graduation in 2029, I'm committed to continuing my basketball journey while pursuing my education. I'm ready to bring my work ethic, coachability, and passion to the next level.
