Weston Harris

**Personal Statement - Weston Harris** Basketball has taught me that success isn't just about individual talent—it's about showing up, putting in the work, and lifting up your teammates. Growing up in Leawood, Kansas, I've developed my game through countless hours in the gym, but more importantly, I've learned what it means to be a reliable teammate and leader on the court. As a member of the class of 2027, I'm committed to continuing my growth both as a player and as a student. I pride myself on my basketball IQ, my willingness to do the little things that don't show up in the stat sheet, and my dedication to team defense. Whether it's diving for loose balls or staying late for extra shooting sessions, I approach every practice and game with purpose. What drives me most is the opportunity to compete at the next level while pursuing my academic goals. I bring energy, coachability, and a team-first mentality to everything I do. I'm looking for a program where I can contribute, develop, and be part of something bigger than myself. Basketball has given me so much, and I'm ready to give everything back to the right program.
