Basketball has become much more than a game to me, it's where I've grown as a player, teammate, and leader. As a sophomore, I was honored to be named Newcomer of the Year in 6A basketball and earned Second Team All-District recognition. While those awards mean a lot, what matters most to me is helping my team succeed. I'm a team-first player who values making the right play over chasing individual stats or highlights. I enjoy playing simple, efficient basketball by making smart decisions, moving the ball, and doing whatever my team needs to win. I don't try to be flashy or draw attention to myself. Instead, I focus on consistency, hard work, and making the players around me better. One of my favorite parts of basketball is the bond I share with my teammates. I love the camaraderie that comes from competing together every day, and I enjoy being the energy and positivity on the team. Whether it's encouraging my teammates, bringing excitement to practice, or leading by example, I want to help create a winning culture. I believe success comes from trust, discipline, and putting the team before yourself. My goal is to continue developing my game while staying true to those values and making an impact wherever I play.
