Marcus Lumar

As a student-athlete from Cibolo, I've learned that success comes from dedication both on and off the field. My name is Marcus Lumar, and athletics has shaped who I am today, teaching me invaluable lessons about perseverance and teamwork. Growing up in this tight-knit Texas community, I've been surrounded by people who believe in hard work and supporting one another. These values have driven me to push through challenging practices, maintain my academic standards, and be a reliable teammate when others need me most. Whether we're facing a tough opponent or struggling through a difficult training session, I've discovered that staying committed and encouraging my teammates makes all the difference. The discipline I've developed through sports has translated directly into my classroom performance. I understand that being a student-athlete means excelling in both areas, not choosing one over the other. Every early morning workout and late-night study session has reinforced my belief that dedication pays off. I'm passionate about continuing my athletic and academic journey at the collegiate level, where I can contribute to a team while pursuing my educational goals.
