Leo Robertson

My name is Leo Robertson, and I’m a basketball and football player from Overland Park, Kansas, graduating in 2031. Sports have taught me a lot about hard work, leadership, discipline and staying focused. I love competing, being part of a team and pushing myself to improve every day. One of the things I’m most proud of is being named team captain multiple seasons because it shows that my coaches and teammates trust me to lead by example. I try to be a steady and reliable player who stays calm in tough situations. I’m the type of teammate who will hustle, make winning plays and do whatever it takes to help my team succeed. As a basketball player, I enjoy creating opportunities for my teammates and making smart plays on the court. Offensively, I like attacking the basket, getting through defenders and finishing at the rim. I work hard to improve my game every season, especially my three-point shot, while continuing to be strong at the free-throw line. I also take pride in understanding the game and knowing where my teammates are on the court. Off the court, I work hard in school and try to bring the same focus and discipline to academics that I bring to sports. I always try to stay prepared and ready for whatever comes next. My goal is to keep improving as a player and person, compete at the highest level possible and continue being a great teammate and leader wherever I play.
