Lane Stokes

I'm Lane Stokes, class of 2027 from Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, and basketball has shaped who I am both on and off the court. From the moment I first picked up a basketball, I knew this sport would be central to my life. What drives me is the constant pursuit of improvement. Every practice is an opportunity to refine my skills, whether it's my shooting form, defensive positioning, or court awareness. I've learned that talent alone isn't enough it's the dedication to showing up every day and putting in the work that separates good players from great ones. Basketball has taught me the true meaning of teamwork. Success isn't measured by individual stats but by how well we communicate, trust each other, and work toward a common goal. My teammates push me to be better, and I strive to do the same for them. As I look toward my future in college basketball, I'm committed to bringing the same work ethic, coachability, and team-first mentality that has defined my high school career. I'm ready to compete at the next level and contribute to a program that values dedication and growth.
