Basketball has taught me that growth happens when you push past your comfort zone. Every early morning practice and every challenging game here in Columbia has shaped who I am both on and off the court. As a point guard, I've learned that leadership isn't about being the loudest voice—it's about making the right play at the right time and trusting your teammates. I take pride in setting up my teammates for success, whether that's a perfectly timed assist or communicating on defense. The game has shown me the value of staying composed under pressure and adapting to whatever the moment demands. What drives me most is the constant pursuit of improvement. I study film to understand my mistakes, spend extra time in the gym working on my weaknesses, and approach each practice with purpose. My coaches and teammates in Columbia have pushed me to become better every day. I'm looking for a program where I can contribute my work ethic, basketball IQ, and commitment to team success while continuing to develop as a player and person. The class of 2029 represents not an ending, but the next chapter of my journey.
