Jack Stephens

Basketball has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. Through several years of youth basketball, AAU competition, and high school varsity experience, I have learned that being a successful player requires more than talent. It takes discipline, consistency, teamwork, and a willingness to be coachable. As a 6'3" shooting guard, I take pride in being a versatile player who can contribute on both ends of the court. I work to create opportunities for my teammates, have strong game IQ, defend multiple positions, and provide dependable scoring. I understand that my value is not measured only by points, but also by the effort, communication, and energy I bring to every game and practice. Being selected as a varsity co-captain gave me the opportunity to grow as a leader. I learned how to hold myself and my teammates accountable, stay composed in difficult situations, and lead through my actions. Whether we are ahead or behind on the scoreboard, I try to be the teammate who remains positive, competes hard, and keeps everyone focused on the next play. My goal is to continue my academic and athletic career at the college level. I am looking for a program where I can be challenged, develop as a player and person, and contribute to a strong team culture. I am prepared to work for every opportunity I receive and would be proud to bring my leadership, competitiveness, coachability, and commitment to a college basketball program.
