Dylan Hakes

I'm Dylan Hakes, a class of 2028 basketball player from Janesville, Wisconsin. Basketball has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and every time I step on the court, I'm driven to become a better player and teammate. Growing up in Janesville, I've learned the value of hard work and dedication, both in the classroom and in athletics. Basketball has taught me that success comes from consistent effort, whether that's early morning workouts, studying game film, or pushing through tough practices. I take pride in being a coachable player who's always willing to learn and adapt my game. What I value most about basketball is the team aspect. My teammates aren't just people I play with—they're the ones who push me to be better every single day. I believe in leading by example, staying positive, and doing whatever it takes to help my team succeed, whether that's scoring, defending, or being a vocal presence on the court. As I continue developing my skills and basketball IQ, I'm committed to working hard and earning the opportunity to compete at the next level while representing Janesville with pride.
