Carter Ray

My name is Carter Ray, and basketball has been my driving force throughout my high school career here in Greenwood, Missouri. Since freshman year, I've dedicated myself to improving not just as a player, but as a teammate and leader on the court. What I love most about basketball is how it demands both individual excellence and collective unity. Every practice, every game teaches me something new about pushing through adversity and trusting the process. Whether we're down by ten points or fighting for a playoff spot, I've learned that consistent effort and supporting my teammates makes all the difference. Growing up in Greenwood has shaped my work ethic and values. Our tight-knit community has always emphasized the importance of dedication and perseverance. These lessons translate directly to the basketball court, where I strive to be the player my coaches can count on and the teammate others can rely on. As I prepare to graduate in 2029, I'm excited to take my passion for basketball to the next level while carrying the determination and team-first mentality that has defined my journey so far.
