Adriana "AJ" Collins

My name is Adriana (AJ) Collins, and I am a 2027 graduate passionate about softball and excited to compete at the collegiate level. Growing up in Lawrence, KS, I discovered my love for the game at a young age and have been playing since I was eight years old. The thrill of competition and the camaraderie of my teammates have shaped who I am both on and off the field. I am a right-handed pitcher and first baseman, as well as a power hitter who thrives in high-pressure situations. I pride myself on being coachable, hardworking, and dedicated to continuous improvement. Softball has taught me the value of determination and resilience, whether it’s pushing through a tough practice or bouncing back from a loss, I always strive to give my best. Teamwork and culture are at the heart of my journey. I cherish the relationships I’ve built with my teammates and understand that success comes from working together. I love the culture of the game just as much as the game itself, and I aim to support and uplift those around me, celebrating our collective achievements. My passion for softball drives me to improve every day, and I am eager to bring this dedication, energy, and love for the game to a collegiate program that values hard work, collaboration, and growth.
