- I’m a guard who’s been ranked in the top 25 nationally and currently No. 2 in Kansas. I love basketball, and I also want to become a doctor someday, specifically an orthopedic hand surgeon. My dream is to play professional basketball while studying hard for medical school. I’m all about doing my best in everything I try. - I’ve always pushed myself in school and on the court. I’ve been on Honor Roll every semester, which shows I’m serious about learning and managing a busy schedule. My standardized test scores were really strong too: Math was in the 98th percentile and Reading/English in the 95th percentile. I think fast, I’m good with numbers, and I can explain ideas clearly—skills that help in sports and in medicine. - My parents served in the military and they have taught me about teamwork, serving others, making smart sacrifices, preparing a lot before you perform, and staying calm under pressure. I believe these values would help me fit in well with any program that wants people who work hard and care about others. - On the court, I’ve shown I can perform well under pressure and help my team win. Being ranked nationally and high in Kansas isn’t just luck; it comes from practice, strategy, and leadership. - Off the court, I volunteer to feed the homeless in my city and help younger players at basketball camps. I like mentoring and helping others, which I know is important in any team setting. - Academically, balancing school, basketball, and volunteering has taught me how to manage my time, stay focused, and keep learning—skills I know I’ll need in medical school and in a professional sports career. - In the short term, I want to keep training really hard for basketball and keep up with tough classes so I’m ready for pro opportunities and for medical school later. - In the long term, I want to be an orthopedic hand surgeon. That means being precise, patient, and caring—skills I’ve practiced through teamwork, helping others, and staying calm when things get tough. I’d bring energy, teamwork, and a positive attitude to any program, and I’d love to help mentor teammates and peers. - I’ll bring my mix of competitive drive, curiosity, and service to your program, so we can grow together and do big things. - I’m really excited about the chance to join a program that values hard work, teamwork, and helping others. I’m ready to work hard in sports, school, and any medical training that comes next.
