Ely Horenstein

I am a junior golfer from Agoura Hills, California, and I have dedicated myself to the game of golf since I was 3 years old. Golf is more than a sport to me. It is a passion that has taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of consistent hard work. I train three-four hours a day during the week and five hours a day on weekends, always working to improve every part of my game. I love competing in tournaments and embracing the challenge of seeing how far I can push myself. One of the biggest lessons golf has taught me is to trust the process over the outcome, and I carry that mindset with me every day in practice and competition. Haveing that mentality in tournaments allows me to play one shot at a time without getting a head of myself. Recently, I have put just as much effort into my mental game as my physical game. I believe golf is won as much by the mind as by skill, and I take pride in developing the focus, toughness, and self-belief needed to perform under pressure. My dream is to become the first Jewish golfer to win a major championship, and every day I work with purpose to move closer to making that dream a reality.
