AAU Team: Team KC
High School Team: Lee’s Summit West High School
Strengths: Glasgow is a table setting Point Guard. He’d rather make a good pass leading to a bucket than get a bucket. Don’t worry, though, he can score it if he needs to. We like Glasgow’s game because he’s high energy, has a high basketball IQ, and has the mental mindset to be good. He’s dedicated himself on getting stronger and dropping some weight…he lost 30lbs and is much more in shape…and quicker! Glasgow isn’t going to break a game open with outside shooting, but he’s quick off the dribble and strong to finish in traffic around the rim. He moves well laterally on defense and has active hands. He’s crafty at getting buckets…has nice post up moves for a guard.
Improvement Opportunity: Glasgow could spend time this summer working on his jump shot. He isn’t a horrible shooter…he just isn’t consistent. He plays more Point Guard than Scoring Guard so he’s never focused on that element of his game, and he had to play down-low on his high school team periodically as they were undersized.
Projection: He’ll be a very solid Division 2 guard.
