RecruitLook Hoops Session 2 : Sleeper Prospects

By: RecruitLook Hoops Staff
The first and only NCAA Live Period for the Spring is going down this weekend, and we’ll be in Kansas City for the RecruitLook Hoops Session 2 & Open Run. This showcase-style event is sold out and will feature eighty-eight 17u-14u boys teams from 16 different states and Canada. This will be the only time for D1 college coaches to hit the recruiting trails at non-scholastic events before July.
The second-leg of the RecruitLook Hoops League will have teams competing for their seeding position in the Atlanta Finale July 11-14 – this weekend has a lot on the line with seeding and college coaches being allowed in the gym. We should see some competitive games from League Teams and the Open Division.

A quick look at some Sleeper Prospects headed into the weekend…
JaVeon Tolliver, 2020, G, Wisconsin United. Impressive pulling up off the dribble in the mid-range. Great change of pace ability with hesitation & crossover dribbles. A smaller guard a 6’ but can get his shot off against most defenders with his quickness and elevation. Should be getting D2/LM looks.
Paul Otieno, 2020, F, KC Pacers. Strong post players. Solid defender down low. He’s new to the game but learning. An interesting prospect with his 6’7” frame and his 4.0+ GPA.
Dalton Gayman, 2020, G, KC Pacers. Multi-sport athlete. Will get recruited for Baseball and Basketball
Craig Collier, 2020, G, Arkansas Heat. One of the best shooters from the state of Arkansas.
Danny Cartwright, 2020, F, Arkansas Heat. Springy forward that crashes the glass hard.
Brandon Leach, 2021, G, Wisconsin United. Athletic guard with big upside.
Elijah Watson, 2020, 6’7, F, Illinois Young & Reckless. The bouncy wing is a tough matchup with his athleticism, frame, and ability to get to the hoop. He’s tough in the classroom too with a 3.97 GPA.
