Fort Zumwalt North: Impact Players

Fort Zumwalt North is having a great season so far at 17-2. They have a trio of prospects we think deserve more attention going into the playoffs. Overall, Coach Uffman has done an incredible job of getting this talented roster to play as a collective unit!

K.J. Lee | Class of 2021 | Fort Zumwalt North | Wing

Lee is one of the best unsigned seniors in Missouri. His scoring ability in Class 6 is eye-opening as he averages over 20 PPG. Much of his scoring is done from beyond the arc where he shoots 40% from three and has a mechanically sound shooting stroke at 6’7. His size and floor spacing as a wing has garnered offers from Eastern Illinois, Grand Canyon, and Saint Louis so far. Lee is the son of a coach and plays the game with great understanding and IQ. Very solid prospect still on the board.

Connor Turnbull | Class of 2022 | Fort Zumwalt North | Post

Turnbull is emerging in greater St. Louis and has established himself as the area’s top shot blocker. He averages over 5 blocks per game as a junior and has does so with great mobility for a 6’10 prospect. On the offensive end of the floor, he is developing a variety of post moves and spaces the floor well as a capable three point shooter on pick and pops. Turnbull is one of the best long term prospects in St. Louis who colleges will want to get in on! Schools such as Evansville and Davidson are keeping an eye on Turnbull early on in the recruiting process.

Drake Stevenson | Class of 2021 | Fort Zumwalt North | Forward

Stevenson is an all-around utility guy for Coach Uffmann. He patrols the middle of the floor and scores with limited dribbling. His style of play is efficient, and he takes advantage of matchups in the mid-post. In addition, his positioning and ability to see the game on defense stand out. Very disciplined prospect with a nice skillset at 6’6. Stevenson’s contributions next to Lee and Turnbull will prove to be valuable as Fort Zumwalt North looks to make a deep run in the playoffs.
