Eiland top performer at Sunflower Showcase

Iowa Barnstormers 17U-Gold team already has guys with Division 1 interest and offers to make it hard on defenses, but then you throw a guy in there like Landon Eiland, who is a 6’4 Wing/Forward out of North Scott High School, and you can see why they’ve had success this year.

Eiland is a good shooter out to the 3pt line and can attack defenses off the dribble. At the Sunflower Showcase, he helped his team by putting in 12 points Saturday morning in a win against a good Oklahoma Impact team. Proceeding that game he received a scholarship offer from Jeff Horner, and Truman State University at the Division 2 level. I have a feeling there will be more where those came from for Eiland if he continues to perform the way he did last weekend.

Eiland has as big upside at the wing position than almost anyone in the state. The rest of the summer will be huge for his recruitment, and we think many more schools will be jumping in on him.
