Wallace State Community College
Wallace State Community College is a community college located in Hanceville, Alabama. Wallace State offers a variety of associate's degrees.
The college was founded in 1966. It is named for former Alabama governor George C. Wallace, who greatly expanded Alabama's community college system.
The mission of the WSCC Diagnostic Imaging program is to provide a quality education that enables students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for entry proficiency as a radiologic technologist and continued growth as a professional. Goal #1 Students will be prepared to function as an entry level technologist. Student Learning Outcomes: Students will properly position patients. Students will practice/apply radiation protection. Students will deliver quality patient care.
