Recruit Look’s Sean Behrens, a 2016 OL from Newsome HS (FL), signed his letter of intent today with Marshall University.
Behrens, 6’3″ 290, had committed to the Marshall coaching staff back in May 2015 while on an unofficial visit to the Huntington, WV, campus.
“Sean was raw when he first got to HS with a ton of potential, but earned the right to start as a freshman and continue that through his HS career. I’m happy that he’s going to a program with as much tradition as Marshall.” said Newsome HS head coach Ken Hiscock. “I was also happy to see him wrestle at Newsome. I encourage my players to wrestle or play multiple sports at the HS level.” Hiscock added, “Coach Fuller (Asst Coach at Marshall) was in touch with our staff a lot and they know they’re getting a good kid in Sean.”
“I’ve had a great 4 years at Newsome HS playing for Coach Hiscock. He’s a great coach and a great man.” said Behrens. “Marshall felt like home as soon as I got there last year. The coaches all made me feel welcomed and they cared as much about my family as myself.”
Behrens, a 3* prospect by many recruiting analysts, was recruited as a guard or center and plans on majoring in Kinesiology as he hopes to be a professional trainer after college.
