So I just learned that the team with the best regular season record can pick when they want to start the playoffs.  You might think that is a fine rule, but this year the Yankees picked to play the day after the Twins clinched the division.  The Twins played a 4 hour 37 minute, 12 inning ball game last night, and then had to jump on a plane to play the Yankees the day after.  They didn't get into New York until 3am and have to play at 5pm.  Wow!

Bud Selig has done it again...screwed up!  It is bad enough that the All-Star game winner gets home field advantage for the World Series.  Now teams get to pick when they play...man up Bud and make things fair.

i agree that this is a lame rule.  i doubt anyone knew it existed before yesterday.  i don't think that it will come into play much though.  the only reason it was an issue was because of the monday night football game just happened to be in minnesota.

Why We Started RecruitLook

RecruitLook.com was created to help high school student athletes with the recruiting process. RecruitLook intends to become an institution, the connective tissue linking high school athletes to college coaches. There are services out there only focusing on top recruits, that cost thousands of dollars, or are only looking to sell you recruiting products and information. RecruitLook wants to create an affordable service that will allow athletes the ability to take control of their future.

We have developed a website that does more than just link high school athletes with college coaches. RecruitLook saw an opportunity to enter a market hungry for more than just online profiles. We have built a social networking community focused around sports. Our multifaceted website does more than just "recruit." We cater to several demographics in a further capacity, providing a platform to list classifieds, promote camps & tournaments, showcase events, advertising in the business directory, plus much more....
