KC Prep Invitational/Metro Sports, tournament homepage, July 25-28, 2012 at Mid-America Sports Complex, Shawnee, Kansas. THIS TOURNAMENT WILL BE TELEVISIED/TAPED DELAY, with selected games, by the EMMY AWARD WINNING METRO SPORTS TELEVISION. Your team can have your local affiliate inquire about coverage in your city. Professional video of televised games are available for a very low cost. The best tournament in the country under one roof, and there were over 320 COLLEGE COACHES IN ATTENDANCE DURING FOUR DAYS OF 2011. This tournament will have the best NCAA Educational Session provided to our participants than any other tournament in the country. As the recruiting season winds down, this tournament becomes a final stop for all college coaches. For the fourth year we will have three days of 610 Sports Radio (www.610sports.com) courtside interviews with D-I coaches and other sports personalities. Metro Sports Television play by play broadcast and college coach’s interviews taped delayed. Tournament participants truly enjoy the opportunity of professional television production for selected games. Also, 610 Sports Radio live 3-4 hour daily courtside broadcast including college coach’s interviews and comments (a big part of this tournament for the 5th consecutive year).
Rick Evrard, with Bond, Schoeneck, and King, PLLC, will be presenting a mandatory NCAA Educational Session for all players and coaches – parents are welcome to attend as well. Mr. Evrard is a former NCAA employee that has the knowledge and insight to deliver informative topics regarding high school athletes and the college recruiting process. These sessions are the finest presentations at any July event you’ll attend this summer.
