RL.com: What are your plans for this summer (camps, AAU, showcase events, etc)?
JH: My plans for the summer are to attend several exposure tournaments such as big shots, ESPN Rise Showcase, the best of the best Under Armour tournament, hoop group Philly jam fest, and a few others.
RL.com: What would you say are your strengths?
JH: My ball-handling abilities help me create space to score in a variety of ways. I also see the court well, and can spot an open man before the play fully develops. Having a high basketball IQ is essential for a point guard, and I believe that is another one of my strengths.
RL.com: What area of your game do you need to improve on?
JH: I need to improve on my leadership. I have to be more vocal to my team and also lead by example. I want to work on my intensity on the defensive end of the floor.

RL.com: What kind of work are you putting in to improve your game?
JH: I started a new workout plan to improve my speed and agility, and I’m lifting more weights. I’m also putting in time on the court working on my basketball skills. My AAU coach is always teaching me different ways on how to be a true point guard on the 17u level and beyond.
RL.com: You are a young player starting to make a name in the recruiting circles. What goals do you have this summer?
JH: My goals for the summer are to get colleges interested in my playing abilities. I want to help my team get wins and championships, and to be one of the best point guards in the 2015 recruiting class.
RL.com: What worries you the most about the college recruiting process?
JH: The only thing that worries me about the recruiting process at the moment is choosing the right school, because you only have one chance, and the decision is a four year commitment.
RL.com: How did you do in school last year (academically)?
JH: I did well this year. First semester I had a 3.5 GPA, and I currently have a 3.3 this semester.
